Jungle Speed Twitter Party

Recent research has acknowledged the significant benefits that board games, such as Jungle Speed and Dixit, have, not only on a child’s cognitive development and their brain’s motor functions, but also on important life skills such as patience, cooperation, concentration, teamwork and perseverance.  Offering children fun, stimulating board games such as Jungle Speed can give them an advantage when heading back to school this fall.  They’re also fun for the whole family year round!  Please join us Wednesday for the #BTSJungleSpeed party to learn more about this new-to-the-US game that is taking the world by storm.

About Jungle Speed:

Developed by Asmodee, the European leader in the distribution of board games and collectible card games, Jungle Speed is an exciting game of quick thinking and lightning fast reflexes.  Think classic card games Spoons or WAR, embellish the cards with abstract shapes and colors and add a call to action to race opponents to a totem.  Each player must be spot-on, in between outbursts of laughter and action!

About Dixit:

Dixit is an exciting game of storytelling through imagination and clues. Artistically designed cards tell a different story for every individual and put creativity to the test! To start, each player receives six cards.  One player is selected as the storyteller for the round. As players tell stories, they earn points to move individually colored rabbit icons around a scoring track to the finish line. The scoring system is where all the subtlety of Dixit is expressed. The storyteller needs to be subtle enough in the clue he gives so at least one player (but not all) understand which is his card and vote for his card.

Omg I would soooo love to win any or all of these games! Playing fun family party games like these are one of my family’s favorite things to do. I am the mom of 5 ages 16-24 and when we get together and also on all holidays we love to play games to entertain us, make us all laugh and to make happy memories together. I googled reviews on these games and they look just like the types we would LOVE! Gosh I hope I win!

I’ll be the Asmodee man-on-the-scene for the party tomorrow night. Knowing virtually nothing about Twitter won’t stop me from putting my virtual foot in my virtual mouth, though I should still be able to talk about the games. I’m good with games.
