  • I’ve still got three years before my Maggie goes off to Kindergarten…and I’m already dreading it. I hope your little man loves school! Happy Wednesday to you

    • I think he’s ready. We did camp from 9 to 4 last week and he loved it, so I’m taking that as a sign that he’s ready for the long day. I hope!

    He is so cute! I know it’s hard to let go, but he will be FINE because YOU made him strong! 🙂

    • So who is going to make sure that I’M fine? 😉

        I am here if you need me! 🙂 Just tweet me! {HUG}

  • awwwwww. a very nice collection.

  • Sorry about the link I posted! I’m new to this, and had planned on posting this gorgeous picture of my Mom and my son, but… best laid plans. Anyway, beautiful photos of your family! Maybe I’ll figure this thing out… 🙂

    • No problem! Most days I’m still figuring it out, too. 😉

  • Got it! Looking forward to everyone else’s photos!

  • We have homeschooled until this year so I have 3 going to school for the first time. They are super excited, but it is going to definitely be a change. My picture was of my grocery cart from back to school shopping. It was my first time doing it and I had no clue what half the items were. Who knew there could be so many different types of notebooks and folders?
    Happy Wordless Wednesday!

    • I just sent my husband off to do the back to school shopping with the kids today and before he left, we had to have a discussion about the importance of the round-tipped scissors and the difference between types of pocket folders. I don’t remember it being this complicated when we were kids!

  • Oh Amy, I am bracing myself for kindergarten next year. I keep looking at my little guy and can not believe he will be in nursery school 5 days this year. Hugs coming your way.

    • I put N in pre-school four days last year instead of five because I didn’t think I could stand it. And now he has to go to kindergarten anyway 🙁

  • For me sometimes it feels like the time it takes to scroll through the pictures is like the time it takes them to grow up. I swear it’s like my son is growing up in fast forward.

  • CRYYYYY. The thought of Kindergarten just kills me. Mine is starting pre-school, but that’s much easier than Kindergarten, I think. Your boy is SO cute–he’ll rock Kindergarten!

    • I remember when my oldest started pre-school. She gave me a quick hug and walked away. I cried the whole way home.

  • Sweet post….and one that makes me think, as I’ve got only 1 year left before my “only” heads off. She hasn’t been in preschool, so it will really be a shocker for this mama. *fighting tears*

    aww, i think that this is really sweet.. i remember what my grandmom told me.. she said that every son or daughter don’t know that pain and sadness their parents feel when it’s time for them to let their kids go and have their own life..
