My Favorite Blogs

If I had a dime for every time I’ve received an e-mail asking me, “Amy, what blogs do you read?” I’d….well, I’d be broke. No one ever asks me, but as I sat in bed with a sick little guy this weekend, I got caught up on my own blog reading. I do not have a blogroll or similar feature here on Resourceful Mommy so I thought I’d take a moment to share with you some of my favorites from around the blogosphere. This list is certainly not meant to be exhaustive, but it does highlight some blogs that I either subscribe to or frequent often.

To Think is To Create Written by my good friend Arianne, To Think is To Create is a delight to the senses with beautiful photographs and carefully chosen words.

Mrs. Fussy Pants – The personal blog of online media mogul Alli Worthington, this site will spend just as much time making you think as it does making you laugh. And you will laugh.

Real Life – This is not only a beautiful blog, but author Sarah Pinnix is also a beautiful person.

Feels Like Home – Tara has a great way of combining delicious recipes, fun crafts, and stories about parenting that will keep you coming back for seconds.

The Guilty Parent – Nikki is hilarious. She just is. Be prepared for some irreverent mom humor!

From Cribs to Car KeysClose friend and Global Influence Community Manager Shannan Powell writes about her life raising not only toddlers, but teenagers…at the same time.

Jessica Knows – Author Jessica Smith is one of the most intelligent and savvy women operating in today’s social media space. You will not fail to find thought-provoking material here.

Velveteen MindWritten by Megan Jordan whose thoughts are more like poetic verse than ideas, Velveteen Mind is simply a fabulous place to spend an afternoon clicking from one well-written post to another.

Teach Mama – Local blogger and friend, Amy Mascott, provides daily ways to find opportunities for learning and growth in our children’s lives. Full disclosure: I never get around to trying anything she writes, but I subscribe to her blog and love to live vicariously through her.
This is just a very small sampling of some of my favorite blogs. Now…what are yours?
