Sippy Straw Cleaner Review and Giveaway

As parents we are bombarded with products that will help us care for our children and the stockpile of plastic things that come along with raising a kid. But there are always those little things that just cannot be found that would make life easier, serve a real purpose, solve a problem.

The Sippy Straw Cleaner is one of those must-haves that I wish went home from the hospital with every new parent. There’s nothing mind-boggling about the design or the concept. It simply does what it claims to do – clean the straws of sippy cups and kids’ sport cups – in a way that no other product does.
I first heard about the Sippy Straw Cleaner when I gave one away at a Twitter Party for Womentorz. Following the event the owner of Sippy Straw Cleaner asked if I’d like to try them out and host a giveaway. I immediately said yes because the dark bacterial build-up inside my children’s sport cups with straws seemed to be impossible to remove with just soap and water or even soaking. Replacing the cups or even just ordering replacement straws was time consuming and a waste of money. I had to give the Sippy Straw Cleaner a try.
When I first used the brush on my son’s cup I literally shouted with glee as I watched the clear plastic straw become as transparent as it was the day I bought the cup. It is disgusting to think about what grows inside of our children’s straws to cause that build-up and discoloration, but the Sippy Straw Cleaner was able to get in there and clean it out completely.

I have tried to no avail to clean out those sippy tops with a bottle nipple tip brush and doesn’t work too good. This is a great little tool to help out. I love this!
