#BuzzedDriving Twitter Event

With holiday parties in full swing from Christmas open houses to New Year’s Eve bashes, many of us will be on the road this holiday season.  The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Ad Council are reminding everyone that the best way to keep your family safe it to plan ahead and designate a sober driver before heading out for your festivities, and spread the word to others about the importance of planning ahead.  After all, even if you will not be enjoying an alcoholic beverage at a holiday gathering, you’ll be sharing the road with those who have.

Please join us this Thursday for a one hour very special Twitter chat with a guest expert from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

When: Thursday, December 9th from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. ET

Where: #BuzzedDriving hashtag on Twitter

How: To participate, use the tag during the hour of 2:00 and 3:00 and follow both hostess @ResourcefulMom and @BuzzedDriving

Ready to plan ahead for your holiday gatherings?  Check out the Alternative Ride Locator as well as this list of 50 fun and festive non-alcoholic drinks to keep the designated drivers at your party pleased as punch.  Also, visit the Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving website to take a pledge not to drink and drive this holiday season.
