Are you a member of Team Kate or Team Jon? I’m sorry, but I just couldn’t resist. For the last few years I have been engrossed in the life of the Gosselins, and despite what many moms say about Kate’s parenting, Jon’s easy-going (pushover…let’s call a spade a spade) attitude, or the pro’s and con’s of parents allowing their children’s lives to be filmed, there is something intrinsically charming about this close-knit family of ten.
I never miss the new episodes of Jon and Kate Plus Ei8ht on Monday night’s at 9 p.m. EST on TLC, but I also really enjoy watching previous episodes of the show as well! Trips to the dentist with my two children never seem so bad after I watch Kate wrestle all six little ones into chairs, and you really have to applaud Kate for her “eat what I make if you’re hungry” attitude at every meal!
One of the best things about this DVD as well as the other seasons of Jon and Kate Plus Eight is that I feel comfortable watching this show with my children. All children love to watch how other little ones behave in their homes, interact with their siblings, and hey…nothing makes the sibling rivalry in your house appear any easier than watching eight children run screaming around one house. Makes my home feel almost like vacation.
