With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, we’re all thinking about how to best celebrate the ones we love. For many of us, that means a special dinner at home or great date night out at a restaurant. When you’re scanning a restaurant menu or walking the grocery store aisles, do you know what many of the food terms really mean? What designates “local”, and what is the difference between organic and non-organic? These terms and others are becoming staples on menus and in stores – and, until now, few have been clearly defined.
Just in time for that special meal, we’ll be chatting with the U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance along with four special guests, who are ready to help you learn more about your choices and where your food comes from. Erin Brenneman, Thomas Titus, Jay Hill, and Carla Wardin are family farmers who want to help you understand how your food is grown and raised.
We hope to see you at the…
