I’m going to be completely honest with you. I’m not a huge fan of Valentine’s Day. There is so much pressure put on this one random day in February, pressure to be your most romantic self and pile a whole year’s worth of love into one meal, gift, or card.
But with that said, the moment I heard about this delicious idea from Entenmann’s, I was sold. The Entenmann’s Sweet Valentine’s Edible Bouquet is the perfect way to say, “You know what box of chocolates? I’m so much more clever than you! You know what expense gift? You don’t stand a chance next to me, a DOUGHNUT BOUQUET!” Not only is the edible bouquet just a tad ingenious, but it’s also incredibly easy. Let me walk you through it…
The key to the Entenmann’s Sweet Valentine’s Edible Bouquet is, of course, Entenmann’s. We used the classic 8 pack based on availability at our local grocery store, but you’ll see that the recipe suggests other varieties as well.
Next, you’ll need a vase to display your bouquet, and while I’ve got a little stockpile of glass cubes that I use throughout the year for decorating, I couldn’t resist this vase with all of its Valentine’s Day bling:
Run, don’t walk to your local grocery store and head directly to the baking aisle. You’ll want to grab fun candy melts, icings and gels, and all of those fun candies that you’ve likely used in the past to decorate cakes and cupcakes. Check it out:
If the beautiful glass vase filled with candy hearts didn’t get you, I know those decorated doughnuts did. Ready to get started?
