Introducing Kinsights {Giveaway}

Okay, folks, I have owed you two important blog features for quite some time, and today I’m making good on some old promises.  This post not only offers you a (valuable! exciting! fun!) giveaway opportunity, but it also provides you with resourceful information.

I know, right?

After all, it says right there in the URL that I’m a resourceful mommy, and while that’s true in my daily life, it’s not always the case in my content.  But today, I am hooking you up.

Kinsights Q&A pageMeet Kinsights: Part parenting community, part online record keeper, Kinsights provides new parents with a safe place to seek answers to their questions while also keeping track of their child’s health information.  For example, if you’d like to get some tried and true advice on teething without your mother-in-law commenting in the thread, you can pop over to Kinsights to ask your question.  Once you’ve shared your question with Kinsights, they’ll find members of the Kinsight community who will likely be best able to provide you with guidance.  Answers will come from everyone from fellow parents to the Kinsights Medical Director, Dr. Carol Wilkinson.

Worried that the answers you’ll receive are bunk?  Well unlike the great answers that get buried in nonsense on your Facebook Wall every day, the Kinsights community gets to “vote up” answers, causing the best content to rise to the top.  Genius.

And now here’s the really resourceful part.  You know those slips of paper that you bring home from the doctor where you’ve recorded immunizations and measurements?  Remember how you couldn’t find any of them the last time you needed to fill out an immunization record for a camp or school?  Well, Kinsights allows you to create a personal health record for your child with their easy, intuitive online interface.  Chart their growth, list their medications, and even store emergency contact information all in the same place.  Isn’t the Internet grand?

Finally – the coup d’etat – Kinsights is free.  No, really.  FREE.

Congratulations to our giveaway winner, Judy Gardner!

    This will be really useful. While I respect my mom and inlaws sometimes I think their methods may be a bit old-fashioned. It’s great to have another source to rely on.
