One of the questions that I receive most often when folks find out that my family spent a week at Walt Disney World last December is, “But doesn’t it cost too much?” Now what is “too much” varies from family to family, and in this family we place a premium on magical time spent with our children rather than new (or even newish!) vehicles, clothing, and the like. However, the bottom line answer that I give is,
“You’d be surprised how affordable Disney can be.”
There are unlimited ways that you can combine deals and offers in order to travel to Disney for the most affordable rates. Disney itself offers incredible discounts at various points throughout the year on everything from accommodations to dining, and independent ticket sellers and travel agents also help travellers get more bang for the buck.
With January drawing to a close, I wanted to pass on to all of you planning a Disney trip right now that January is AAA’s Disney Month. Even if you are not ready to book your entire Disney trip, if you know that will be visiting the World in 2009, it may be worthwhile to purchase your tickets now at a discounted rate. Be sure to check with Disney travel before purchasing from any vendor as they may be able to offer you an even better rate.
