When I was a kid my brother and I played with LEGO® bricks that we stored in a giant metal tub, the kind you might find filled with popcorn around the holidays. We spent hours creating houses, cars, jets, rocketships and more, changing out the heads on the LEGO men, adding a construction hat before they drove a truck and a baseball cap before they jumped in a car.
At the time I thought that the assortment of primary colored LEGO® bricks in that bin were about all any kid needed to be creative and have some LEGO® fun. Never in my wildest dreams could I have guessed that my kids would be enjoying LEGO® Ninjago and LEGO® Friends.
While my kids certainly enjoy building with LEGO® bricks just like I did as a child, my son actually enjoys watching LEGO® Ninjago even more than playing with the associated building sets. Even with On Demand and our DVR, he just can’t seem to get enough of the LEGO® created story lines and characters. For this reason I was so excited to learn about The Official LEGO® YouTube Channel , created to both entertain and inspire our kids. With over 500 videos and more being added daily, the LEGO YouTube Channel includes mini-movies, music videos, and even training videos to help the LEGO® builder in your home. Now when my six year old wants to enjoy a few minutes of LEGO® Ninjago, I know where to turn.
In fact, I’ve even created my own LEGO® video playlist with our favorites so my kids can access the videos quickly! Check out my LEGO® video playlist on YouTube, which includes LEGO® Ninjago mini-movies, designer and training videos, and even a LEGO® Ninjago music video.

How to create your own LEGO® playlist:
- Visit Youtube.com/LEGO and watch one of your favorite videos
- Click “Video Options”
- Select “Add To Playlist”
- Sign-In using your YouTube Login
- Add your selected video to an existing playlist or create a new one
- To prevent non-LEGO® videos from being recommended, build your playlist using only Official LEGO® Channel videos.
